About Us

Who Are We?

Our motto is “Football for All” and we really mean this!

We aim to make grassroots football accessible to any young person who wishes to take part by providing a friendly, fun, safe and well organised environment in which they can develop their skills to be the best player that they can possibly be.

As a Club our mission is to be the best Club for young people in the Kettering area and as part of this we hold the Football Association Charter Standard Award.

Club History

Weekley Rovers Football Club was established in 1995 by Andy Coulson and Dean Darker when Dean found there were no opportunities available at other local Clubs for his son to play football.

Andy and Dean set about creating a Club for any young person wanting to play football irrespective of their ability or background, a principle that remains at the heart of how we operate today.

The Club adopted the motto of “Football For All” from the start and the first team within the Club was formed, an Under 10’s team which began playing in the Weetabix Youth League.

Following a successful advertising campaign, more and more players turned up wanting to train.  Gradually the Club has grown in strength year on year and now has teams from U7 right through to the U18 age group.  The Club also has a training group for U5 and U6 players.
