WHO WE ARE

Since our formation in 1995 our goal to make football available to all young people who wish to take part has seen us grow into one of the largest youth football clubs in Northamptonshire.

Based in Kettering, the club consists of teams in almost every age group from under 6’s through to under 18’s.

OUR CURRENT YOUTH TEAMS (2023/24 Season)

U5's / U6's Training Group

This group is all about having lots of fun whilst gaining first experiences of being part of organized football in a safe, friendly and encouraging environment.

Children can start joining in with our group as soon from reception year for U5s and year 1 for U6s.  The new intake for these age groups starts in September with players welcome to join anytime during the season as long as we have space available. To reserve your child’s place please contact us.

U7 Crusaders

Weekley Rovers Crusaders are a new team in its first season. Training takes place on a Thursday night at KBA 6-7 with matches on a Saturday morning

U8 United

Weekley Rovers U8 United team started as a small group of players training together at at the end of last season which has since expanded into a full team playing in the Weetabix League.

U9 Wizards

Many of our current group of boys & girls have graduated from our training group and the team now has over a season’s experience of playing in matches in the Weetabix League.

This is a team full of energy who love our football based games that help to introduce them to and develop core skills they will build on in the season ahead and beyond.

U9 Warriors

Many of our current group of boys & girls have graduated from our training group and the team now has over a season’s experience of playing in matches in the Weetabix League.

U10 Foxes

The U10 Foxes have developed fabulously over their first couple of seasons into a group of players that has learnt to play as a team and is reaping the rewards.

More importantly though, if the feedback received and the smiles on the players faces is anything to go by, then they are having a great time!

We have a full match squad plus some additional players who are training with us in readiness to join the match squad once a place becomes available and whom are just as much a part of our team.

U10 Collectivo

Since the Under 10 Collectivo team joined Weekley Rovers FC last year they’ve gone from strength to strength including the welcoming of additional new players and increasing success on match days.  Long may it continue

U10 Thunder

The Under 10 Thunder team is having a strong first full season with us and growing from strength to strength.  As a club we look forward to observing and supporting this team’s continued development and success in the years ahead.

U11 Hurricanes

The Weekley Rovers Hurricanes formed back in 2017.  We are a mixed team of boys and girls currently playing in the Weetabix Youth Football League.

Our team is about player’s football development in safe environment whilst making it fun.

We follow the Weekley Rovers FC motto of “Football for All” and encourage any player to join us.

U12 Lightning

The Lightning team are a fun, exciting and friendly group of boys and girls.

With two fully qualified established coaches we focus on playing our football in a fun and friendly environment with the emphasis on learning and development for all abilities.

All players are welcome and providing they listen and regularly train they will be given an opportunity to play the game that we all love

U13 Napoli

The Napoli team are a very friendly group of children who have mostly been together since starting as U7’s.

As coaches we aim to educate the children to understand the game as well as bring enjoyment to training and matches.

U15 Phantoms

Our Weekley Rovers Phantoms side have been together since the U8 section.  

Our aim is for the players to be happy playing their football so our emphasis is always on fun and enjoyment!

New friendships have been formed both on and off the pitch, the team have a great camaraderie and we look to play good football when we can in a sportsmanlike manner.

U15 Shadows

Weekley Rovers Shadows are a group of enthusiastic young players who are always keen to learn and develop their skills.

Coached by Mark Brace and Jamie Brooker we currently play in the Kettering Weetabix Youth Football League.

U16 Rockets

A team developed all the way through from our U5s/U6s with 4 of the original players still with us.  We’ve come along way in those 7 years and we as coaches (all 4 of us) have enjoyed every single minute of the journey.

We have a fantastic bunch of players and parents who regardless of the weather (or the results) are always there at training and on match days to support our brilliant group in the right way.

We currently train on Friday nights at Latimer Arts College, Barton Seagrave and play our matches on a Sunday in the Weetabix League.

U18 Titans

Weekley Rovers Titans are an under 18 side playing in Division 2 of the Weetabix Youth Football League.

This tight-knit squad of friends have been together for many seasons now through mini soccer into youth football and were recognised by the Weetabix League as their “Team of the Year” in 2018.

Honours also include: 2019 Winners of Weetabix Football League Division 3, finalists in the 2018 Weetabix Football League Plate, 2018 Kettering Town FC half time penalty competition winners and semi-finalists in the 2019 Corby Town FC tournament.

U18 Titans
