Weekley Rovers FC

Our club has an enthusiastic, well attended training group of Under 6's (4 to 6 year old girls and boys) who love their football and whom we hope will form our future teams.

We're seeking someone to share the load a little and help with the coaching of this fantastic group of kids.

No prior experience whatsoever is required to take on this rewarding role, you don't need to have ever played regular football yourself and you don't to be connected to a child in the team.

Coaching kids at this age is all about helping them have a fun time whilst introducing them to a few simple football basics (even matches come later).

All we ask is that you are willing to spare 1-2 hours each week, complete some simple training, attend coaches meetings about once a month and abide by the club's ethos and policies.

More than the minimum number of coaching staff opens up additional opportunities to share the time required and eases taking time out for work or personal events without the need to cancel a session so do encourage other's to volunteer with you.

The enjoyment of our training group players and their progress in the weekly sessions is clear to see and hear making it a real pleasure to be involved.

Currently the training group trains every Friday 5pm-6pm primarily due to the young age of the children and availability of the ground.  However we recognise this may be too early for some potential coaches due to work commitments etc. so are open to alternative times/days being proposed to the parents/guardians.
